The backlink outreach skill for your coding agent

Repository opens mid-November 2026

Type “find sites that should link to my product” in Claude Code. The Skill searches your niche, reads the pages, writes the one sentence that would add you and the email to its author, and sends from your own mailbox once you approve.

What it does in your session

  1. Finds the pages. Lists, /uses pages, comparisons and how-to posts in your niche that already cite tools like yours. Blogs run by your direct competitors are left out.
  2. Finds the person. The author named on the page, at an address published on their own site.
  3. Writes the line. It reads the post and proposes the exact sentence to add, where it fits. No mail merge.
  4. Sends when you say so. From your own mailbox, 30 a day at most, with a way to say no in every email. It keeps a local log of who was pitched.

What it stops doing when you close the session

The Skill runs only while your session is open. It doesn't follow up on day 3 and day 7, it doesn't watch your inbox for replies, and it can verify about 50 addresses a month with a free key. The paid Cloud version does those continuously, from a mailbox we set up, with a Prospect base shared across customers so no blog gets pitched twice in a month.

Where the method comes from

We ran it on our own two apps first, July to October 2026: 2,326 first emails, and 26 sites now link to them after a pitch, 24 of them dofollow. On the SaaS, every link took a guest post we wrote. On the Mac app, links came from a free licence or nothing at all. The full numbers, including what failed, are in our outreach benchmarks.

Rules it keeps by default

  • It never pays an editor and never offers money.
  • Anchors are your brand or your address, never a keyword.
  • It writes only what your product sheet says; anything else, it asks you.
  • It pauses if bounces pass 3% of the last 50 pitches.
