What the agent reads, and what it keeps

Last updated October 28, 2026

The agent works in a mailbox you connect. It reads only the mail it needs to do its job, and it never reads your main inbox.

The mailbox you connect

You connect a mailbox on a second domain you own, made for outreach. In that mailbox the agent:

  • sends the pitches you approved;
  • reads the replies to those pitches and the bounce notices, to draft your answers and to pause sending when bounces rise;
  • does not read other mail, contacts or calendars, and does not forward anything outside EarnedBacklinks.

Disconnect it any time from the mailbox provider's security settings, or ask us; the agent stops the same day.

What we keep about you

  • Your name, email, company and postal address, and the product sheet you fill once.
  • Your payment status from Stripe (never your card number).
  • The pitches, replies and drafts of your campaign, so you can see them and the agent can follow up.

What we keep about the editors it writes to

The agent finds articles and the address their author or editor published on their own site. For each pitch it keeps the article, the address, the date and the answer. Every pitch says who is writing and why, where the address was found, and how to say no.

  • One “no” or “stop” removes that blog for every customer, for good. We keep the address on that list only to honour it.
  • Each customer's campaign is kept apart; we don't sell or share a list of editors.
  • Addresses of people who never answered are deleted after 12 months.

For a campaign, you decide whom to write to and what to say; GETTIN sends and handles replies for you, under the terms you accept. GETTIN is responsible for the shared “no” list and for how the agent finds articles and addresses.

This website

This site sets no tracking cookies and runs no ads. If you write to us, we keep your email to answer it.

Who else handles data

  • Stripe, for payments.
  • Your mailbox provider (Microsoft, Google or your IMAP host), where the pitches are sent from.
  • A language model provider, which reads the articles and your product sheet to write the lines and drafts. It does not train on them.
  • A search data provider, which returns the search results the agent reads.

Pending Arthur (processors). Name each provider and its region before launch (Stripe, the model provider, DataForSEO, the address checker).

Your rights

You, or anyone the agent wrote to, can ask to see, correct or delete their data, or object to it being used: write to arthur@earnedbacklinks.com. We answer within a month. In the EU you may also complain to your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).

Who is responsible

GETTIN, [postal address]. arthur@earnedbacklinks.com.
